Since the release of Anika’s controversial debut in 2010, produced by Portishead’s industry anarchist, Geoff Barrow, she has been infiltrating the club circuit, spinning politically infused, off- beat New Wave, Cold, Punk and Hiphop.

Hitting the wall that was playing 1am club sets, Anika teamed up with Finnish techno, hiphop beat- maker, Obi Blanche, to add beats and bass, and create edits of the past, in an attempt to educate the house heads of the present.

Leaving the laptop at home, the 2 will remix live, using just an SP-404 sampler, vinyl and cd, w/live percussion, synth and vocals, rescuing the ‘non-danceable’ wealth of the past and bringing it to a club environment.
