On the Agnes B rooftop in Paris
Looks a bit like some spy movie, where the evil assasin has beaten the escapee to the roof and is sitting there, cool as a cucumber, staring the fugative in the eye, with a cold, dark stare… Maybe i’ve just been reading too much. I really need to finish some of the short stories i’ve been working on for a number of years. Perhaps i will unveil the tales chapter by chapter, here...

Whilst in New York, i stopped off at Turntable Lab and played them some records. I think it may have been the night i went on to play Trophy bar. I turned up with some new-ish British stuff, hoping i could introduce them to something but the guys knew it already… They’re definitely on the case in there.

Anika to play Fabric, London in April

So it turns out you WON’T have to travel half the way across Europe to catch an Anika gig this year.
It’s strange to think that this will only be our 3rd official London (and even UK i believe) show - Anika UK dates are certainly few and far between…
It will most probably be our only London show before...

Germany Live tour confirmed for May
Eventually we are getting our act together and have just confirmed a 5-date May tour around Germany. I can’t wait to go back to Berlin!
Plus i have paid a handful of strangers to pretend to be my ‘authentic’ german family in these locations, in an attempt dispell any rumours about my bogus heritage…

Vinyl purchases from Other Music, NYC
It’s extremely slack that i have not talked AT ALL about the US trip yet. It’s been fun. Especially the spinning a bit of vinyl along the way part. I’ve also massively enjoyed buying lots of vinyl to play back in the UK. I think one of the highlights was playing with Duane and Veronica at trophy bar. It was definitely the most fun, with the best company and a very nice place...
